## Electronic Payment User Manual

The e-Payment platform provided by The Barbados Port Inc. (BPI) provides a secure and convenient way to electronically pay various commercial cargo handling fees. These fees include:

* **Free Along Ship (F.A.S.)**
* **Tonnage Dues**
* **Unstuffing** (applicable for containers fully or partially stripped on Port premises)
* **Storage** (applicable to dry cargo only)
* **Plug** (applicable to cold storage cargo only)
* **Security Surcharge**
* **Hazardous Cargo Surcharge**
* **Personal Effects** (also known as the **'Barrel Fee'**)
* **Verified Gross Mass (VGM) Certificates**

Customers can process multiple shipments in a single transaction using MasterCard, Visa cards, or prepayment accounts. The portal also enables users to top up their prepayment accounts without requiring assistance from BPI personnel. Additionally, customers can upload scans of financial instruments such as cheques, bank drafts, or bank transfer documentation, access statements, generate reports on demand and query Plug Information at their convenience.
